What’s OLLI?
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UW-Madison is a membership organization for adults age 50 and older who are interested in actively engaging their minds through a variety of enrichment activities.
Housed in the Division of Continuing Studies at UW-Madison, UW OLLI is part of an exclusive national network of Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes funded by the Bernard Osher Foundation.
Programs
Members can take advantage of a stimulating array of courses and programs each semester, including:
- Expert-led enrichment courses
- Peer-led participatory discussion groups
- Lectures
- Socials
- Bus trips
Membership
The annual membership fee is $50 and is effective from July 1 to June 30. Any adult age 50 and older may join UW OLLI, which also includes membership in PLATO (Participatory Learning And Teaching Organization). No formal education or experience is necessary. A zest for learning is all that is required.
